Biological Sample Concentrators
HSC‐40 Bench‐Top Concentrator

The HSC‐40 Bench‐Top Concentrator is the first fully automated, efficient, and robust laboratory instrument available for concentrating dilute particles in a liquid. Nowhere is this more important than for the prepara‐ tion of biological samples for trace analysis. The system separates the particles from the fluid, then delivers them in a highly concentrated form in a user‐selected final fluid and volume format. The process is highly efficient and effective over a wide range of particle sizes from 5 nanometers to 20 microns.
The InnovaPrep Technology, in concert with the latest detection systems can aid in quickly identifying threats at previously undetectable levels.
HCI‐40 Integratable Concentrator

The first fully automated, efficient and robust sample prep instrument built for ease of integration into sample collection/detection systems. The (pat. pend.) InnovaPrep technology concentrates dilute particles in a liquid. Nowhere is this more important than for the preparation of biological samples for trace analysis. The system separates the particles from the fluid, then delivers them in a highly concentrated form in a user‐selected final fluid and volume format. Biological Sample Collectors
ACD-200 “Bobcat” Aerosol Collector with Elution System
The Bobcat is a lightweight, portable, dry filter air sampler with a unique wet-elution system. It is ideally suited for the collection of bioaerosols and particulate matter; including submicron-sized particles, airborne molecular contamination, and particulates. This system has been developed to address a broad range of air sampling requirements and its efficiencies are currently undergoing rigorous testing for the collection of airborne pathogens- including anthrax, plague, and Venezuelan equine encephalitis (VEE) at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
The Bobcat was created for tactical use, and exceeds the current requirements for the JPEO-CBD Joint Biological Tactical Detection System (JBTDS) Collector. It can be triggered by other systems, or it can be operated as a standalone unit. Operational modes include pre-defined single sample collection, externally triggered collection, continuous sampling, and programmed intermittent sampling for long-term monitoring using an internal rechargeable battery.
SpinCon Advance Air Sampler
The SpinCon® is a portable and energy-efficient wet concentrator air sampler. Tested and proven in user- sponsored tests, it is ideally suited for the collection of bioaerosols, particulate matter, and soluble vapors, including submicron-sized particles, airborne molecular contamination, biological particulates, and volatile and semivolatile chemical compounds. The system has been developed to address a broad range of advanced air sampling requirements and is rapidly becoming the gold standard for collecting large quantities of airborne pathogens, including anthrax, foot and mouth, citrus canker, avian influenza, mold, and many others.
